Argo Environmental Engineering are the main agent and distributors for Hamworthy's Ballistic Ignition system that is now used on a variety of facilities worldwide.

 

 

How it works...

The system will ignite any flares on your flare deck or location, with a single pellet.  The pellet is launched under air pressure, from a safe area and runs through a guide pipe to the flare tips that could be anything up to 2 kilometres away.  The pellet fragments are captured and release thousands of small sparks that burn for approximately 4 seconds igniting any flammable gas in the immediate area.
