The Production Process
To see case studies of projects we have worked on click here to go to the voluntary sector.
Pre-Production
Before any filming can begin
there are a number of processes that have to be considered and planned for.
This is a very important stage of a production because if something is not
100% right now, it will show up later. We have a number of experienced
and talented producers and directors who work together at this stage to
cover all angles and to ensure that we have the best script and team for the
type of production we are working on, and that no stone is left unturned in
the planning and pre-production stage.

Location Filming
When filming on location it is so
important to be organised and prepared. We will use any resource
available to ensure that nothing will come as a surprise to us when location
filming including several site visits to the location beforehand if
possible. Between our employees and
our contacts in various industries
we have expertise and experience that ranges across a massive variety and
range of industries, departments and associations to insure we produce the
best possible results for our clients.

Post Production
After the filming is complete, we
can return with anything up to several days worth of footage, which we now
need t
o covert into the faultless product that our client requires. To
do this we take the footage back to the offices in Devon where we have the
edit suit set up. An experienced member of our team will then pour
over the footage and select the highlights and best takes and start putting
them together to create the product. Also any additional effects,
graphics and animations will be created and put into the production at this
stage so it is all in tune with the final product. Voiceovers are
recorded from professional actors and voiceover artists and finally the
music is selected. The music can set or destroy the tone of the
production so it is vital that the music suits the production perfectly.
Throughout the editing process, contact with the client is crucial to get
the right results for them.

DVD Authoring
At this stage the Production is finished and the client along with everyone on the team is happy with what has been produced. Now the production is recorded on to DVD or the format the client requires it in. If required we present the finished product with some artwork and box it for the client to use.
