Argo Environmental Engineering Limited continues its successful partnership with Struan Energy in Aberdeen, that formed Clean Water Systems Limited, enabling continued development of AquaPurge®, the smallest, most compact system available for the removal of dispersed and dissolved oil from Produced Water.

Argo Environmental Engineering, in partnership with Struan Energy in Aberdeen, is cooperating in the development of a new oily water clean-up system targeted at polishing downstream of current Offshore Produced Water Systems. Other systems, such as drainage water, tank flushing, ballast water or even bilge water would also benefit.

Clean Water Systems Limited, through two successful Joint        Industry Projects (JIPs) supported by oil giants BP, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Kerr McGee, Marathon Oil, Shell, Talisman and Total, continued development of AquaPurge® over 4 years, culminating in early 2005,  a successful set of trials on board the ConocoPhillips 'Judy' platform. During this particular trial, DTI representatives inspected AquaPurge® giving positive feedback.

AquaPurge® will remove both dissolved and dispersed hydrocarbons and other organics, downstream of conventional systems. It offers a unique, low maintenance plant solution.

 

The final development unit on board the 'Judy' platform, capable of handling 10,000bbl/day of Produced Water.
